the only thing I prefer on this to PC is that has the sense of continuity. PC sounds like a bunch of songs put together, even if some songs are somewhat connected.

The disjointed feel kind of worked on Watershed though, so I don't think that's too much of a concern. I just wish I liked it better

constantly interesting on this. On PC he doesn't take it on a higher level, in fact he rather plays an
uninteresting version of his Heritage drumming

Nah, I liked his drumming a lot on PC. It was restrained but shined on some parts.

Yeah, he's shines on some parts of PC for sure, but I don't know, as a drummer myself his performance on this influenced me a lot, and was very innovative for the modern prog scene, as he brought a lot influences from free jazz in his technique. And I understand the drums are not that much of a focus on PC, and that's okay, but I just think he could still have been more interesting at some moments.
