How come there are so many negative comments on this album? Feels to me like their old Metalcore-fanbase is sad about this one. This is great in my opinion. My favs are Famine Wolve, Into the Darkness and Rapid Calm.

^agreed. This album is definitely on my list for favorite album 2015. This album grabbed me on first listen and it's been really fun to pick apart.

It's not really because I'm a fan of their earlier stuff, it's just that this sounds so bland on a lot of levels. There's good stuff on here but not enough to sway me.

Im kinda a metalcore hater so I can't really compare this to their other albums, but the very clean production may have kinda switched the focus away from intense emotions to more appreciation for the complex instrumental parts with the many layers. The production kind of reminds me of Yes.

I guess many didn't like the shift in style. Ever since Colors came out all the way to Parallax 2, many just expected to here this same style just with different formulas and song structures. The album is really ambitious but could've succeeded with fewer tracks.

Still digging this really hard. Now that they've experimenten with this kind of stuff I think their next album could be a real masterpiece.

Same, I don't like the death metal on the other albums. This album grows HARD though. It needs a few listens to understand the structure/flow of the songs. It may sound kinda random at first, but with a few listens it gets genius.
