yep! definitely
CD version is a square 4, but the LP is where this becomes a special album. don't normally get insistent on that kinda shit, but it pays off a ton for this

Album Rating: 4.5
as long as it has the longer version of Just Abandoned Myself

In the context of Pink, this would certainly seem to be an accurate assessment. You can't please all the people all the time, especially when playing to the fanatical fanboy hordes that grow and multiply every day like the "ghosts" of the Fakahatchee Strand. But this reviewer couldn't give a duck's fart about whether the fickle scenesters that ruin Indieland for the rest of us are happy. Pink is quite simply half-there. Much of its contents are wasted on pork-y, garage-by-way-of-doom ragers that are the equivalent of cheap beer: you'll only resort to it in a pinch, and you'll probably end up depositing a good portion of it in your crapper.

yeah LP version is way better, kicks right off with the t/t and farewell is better positioned before just abandoned myself. which yeah 18 minute version is also essential

saw this band perform this album live in a tiny space, really fun. got an LP of the album too, think it has a whole cover for its cover with "PINK" cut out of it. idk. good album been like a decade tho, dont think I even revisited it for the show which was prob like 2017

I missed my chance to see them a few months back and i'm pretty sad about it still.

vinyl LP of this is mandatory, US version of Smile belongs in the bin, New Album doesn't matter as long as the opener is Flare and you jam whichever of Luna/Black Original isn't on your version as a bonus track
and um ig Amp Worship doesn't matter much either?
hmm think that's the main ones
|
| |
scary but ill trudge on
its been a fruitful journey so far
|

ranking those that i've heard now:
