People that buy stuff purely to support bands will likely do it either way, but yeah, I'm guessing there are a fair amount of people that will lose hype and just not purchase anything if they get their hands on the music months in advance.

As bad as I feel for the boys, obviously I had to listen to the leak. Quality was shit but I can say with quite a bit of confidence that this is their worst album. There are a few tracks that are fucking great but overall I really wasn't impressed. I'll obviously give it a real shot when the official release comes along but I think they've toned themselves down to the point where their strongest assets are now MIA.

Sadly I have to mostly agree with you. There's no huge stands out for me like I got with all their previous albums. It seems like they've toned down the intensity and craziness found on previous releases.

Like it's weird, it sounds the same in a lot of ways but if you listen to this and then go listen to Reclaimer there's a big difference. Hopefully it'll grow on me a bit more.

But I'll wait for the proper album release to make a full judgement.

On the bright side, this isn't even remotely as disappointing as Rivers of Nihil's latest.

Sucks so hard the new one leaked. Definitely gonna pick up a copy now just to support these guys.

Gave the leak another listen today. I'm definitely warming up to it but I will say I'm definitely growing to dislike the clean vocals these guys do. They sound out of place a lot of the time.
