"So what if they sound like Zeppelin? It's called influence."
Influence, he says.

this isn't even a very good zepp impression, i mean at least zepp could be a bit experimental when they wanted to
It's like they based their entire discog off Black Dog

More of a zep caricature

"this isn't even a very good zepp impression, i mean at least zepp could be a bit experimental when they wanted to"
Because it is more in common with the Blues Rock side of Zep rather than their experimental side.
People seem to forget that at least 50% of Zep's output was just old fashioned Blues Rock with heavier riffing. Not every single thing they did was drug induced experimental artsy shit.
Of course if you hate Zep's debut album or just hate their regular Blues shit, then yeah you'll hate this to.
"It's like they based their entire discog off Black Dog"
This may come as a surprise, but not everybody enjoyed Zep's 8 minute long tracks of endless ambience and experimental jibberjab.
"So what if Zeppelin sounds like Cream? It's called influence."
Influence, he says.
See? I can do that too. Again, you can't rip off a rip-off artist.

yeah, page was known to be a stickler for stealing ideas and riffs, but the zep sound is still the zep sound; they make ideas their own.
this? it's zep worship that doesn't have the skill to make it its own and literally sounds like a shite cover band

"yeah, page was known to be a stickler for stealing ideas and riffs, but the zep sound is still the zep sound; they make ideas their own."
I mean, I'm not sure ripping off of Cream's style counts as making it their own. Also at least GVF write their own songs and credit when they cover or use a riff, unlike a certain Jimmy Page.
"Everybody talks about LED ZEPPELIN, and they played one fucking [reunion] gig [at London's O2 in December 2007] — one fucking lame gig — while CREAM did weeks of gigs; proper gigs, not just a lame gig like ZEPPELIN did, with all the [vocal] keys lowered and everything. We played everything in the original keys. Fuck off, ZEPPELIN, you're crap. You've always been crap and you'll never be anything else. The worst thing is that people believe the crap that they're sold. CREAM is 10 times the band that LED ZEPPELIN is."
"The thing about ZEPPELIN is that obviously it's a little bit of jealousy on my part — or more than a little bit — because the audience was created by CREAM and JIMI HENDRIX… this sort of very large audience… Then ZEPPELIN came along and had a very easy ride in that way. We were the pioneers and pioneers don't always get the recognition they deserve, maybe. But, on the other hand, it was true that they didn't play [the songs at the O2 concert] in the original key, and let's face it: Jimmy Page ain't no Eric Clapton… no matter what anybody thinks. . . I mean, the only decent guy, the one good guy in that band is dead… so what are you gonna do?"
