I'm not "stooping so low". It's a fact. If you've ever listened to the commentary on Burials, Davey specifically says he tries to achieve that vocal style on Heart Stops because of the music. He says he wanted to take as much emotion out of his voice as possible to work with the cold sounding style of the song.

They only did that on the first leg of the tour. I caught them in Tampa on the second leg and they opened with Medicate.

Speaking of outros, my fav song on this still is The Interview. It's so lush and that church organ outro is just goosebump-inducing. I love that we get to hear a little duet between Davey and Jade at the end too.
