Been really stuck on the first half of this because it flows so well, and I’ve realized how equally as well the back half flows on the past few listens. Something about the violin melody on the final track is so cathartic and impactful after such an angular and dissonant listen throughout. And then to have them revisit it hard as fuck at the end. 5 city man, absolutely brilliant

Apart from this album being very good, these guys remind me a lot of Morbus Chron for some reason. Similar stoner-like quality to the music

It took me so long to get past that initial 3 track run because it flows so well. I would just play those on a loop. but the second half fucks too, esp the closer

oh yeah the closer is incredible, like a descent into hell. but it really does just flow incredibly as one song.

Idk about that. They've yet to top this.

idk if u gotta top this for that sentiment to hold, personally prefer this album to narcosis too but narcosis is such an absurdly intriguing record sounding like little else while being pristinely put together, band's creativity is off the charts and no one else is gonna scratch their specific itch
