pleaae dont let my enthusiasm set any kind of difficult expectations when you listen to it. im sure many people will find it to be not as good as act iv. both albums are stunning regardless, and very, very different in tone.

there isnt a bad moment on the whole album, like, its flawless. saying that, the flame is gone and the fire remains, while awesome songs, are overshadowed by the highlights i mentioned i think.
act iv had some songs i wasnt too fond of, like wait, ouroboros, squeeky wheel, old haunt. i mean... i cant find a fault in the new album. it isnt as bouncy as iv and there arent as many "fun" songs but every song is powerful or adds to the album in its own way.
