this is pretty great. a little too same-sy. although it has that subtle psych complexity to it. the sound is fun, and the lyrics are actually fantastic.

Innerspeaker was easier to get into on first listen, but I feel like this one has slightly more replay value. Both are amazing though imo.

You know you love a band when you get tiny panic attacks when you think about them breaking up. Kevin Parker don't stop making music please.

dude have some optimism for once! its a different world, sure, but that doesnt mean that artists cant make a cultural impact.
|
| |
It's all been made irrelevant dude.
Amazing music is still being made but it's all a whimper because there is no conduit to channel it to the disinterested masses i.e the 'voices of the generation' have been usurped by the global community talking shite on the internet.
My generation wanted nothing more than to kill the 'scene' I didn't realise I would miss it so much!!

Yeah it's a valid point, reverts back to the "there'll never be another nevermind" argument
Fuck it though man, I don't care if the bands I like sell 500 records or 5 million as long as I can connect with them personally. In an instant gratification culture that's about as much as I can ask for, that brief moment of catharsis where time stands still and nothing in the world matters except for the fucking music

Cheers dude, I just don't see the point of being needlessly cynical. Just tune in, turn the music up and drop the fuck out
