I know that for most you guys this has a lot of nostalgia value, but face, has always been at the bottom in the barrel ( generic instrumentation, laughable lyricism and they were part of putrid scene thank thnafully is death in the 2014). Besides radke is a cunt and his voice, he butchered a legandary video like hot for teacher and is annoying as hell. Dudes, there are better gateaway metalcore albums that destroy this shit: the fall of ideals, City of evil, constellations, an ocean between us, define the great line, as daylight dies. Even bands like pierce the veil which is average or bfmv which is mediocre as fuck rapes this

Those albums you mentioned are better than this, that's true, but for the genre I think this is still pretty good. I like Radke's vocals here, too bad he's such a prick now.

His voice has always been annoying, that scene had few tolerable acts ( pierce the veil, saosin,
underoath) and ETF wasn't one of those. The scene was one of the worst things that happened to rock
music

I've always considered Underoath from a different scene (They're Only Chasing Safety is probably the only one closer to this), being mostly focused on metalcore, while this is post-hardcore with metalcore and alt rock influences, similar to stuff like From First To Last, Blessthefall, BVB. Those are definitely worse.

The album that you mentioned is scene as hell and is probably the worst of their entire discography ( worse their debut LP), still that album is better than anything put by radke and company. And the fact that there are worse acts in the genre doesn't justify this album

Agreed. Still I don't find this album bad at all and I can enjoy it. But I can also understand why people would strongly dislike this.
