Unbelievably strong run of 7 songs start it off. Most of the remaining 6 songs are pretty good, but the record loses momentum a bit. Still an excellent release from a pretty unique band.

can’t say I’m in love with this band based off what I’ve heard, but man Cybele’s Reverie is something special

Les Yper-Sound is the most Stereolab title ever maybe

This is on right now! So far so good, two tracks in and the opener was absolutely cool!

EDIT: So many amazing tracks here. Love it. Feel another 4.0 incoming. At 'Tomorrow Is Already Here' right now.

Opener is a winner, absolutely love the vibes on Monstre Sacre and Slow Fast Hazel too

Deserved the extra .5. Love this. Makes me want to move around weirdly in my room during work time (bless the lockdown so my colleagues are spared this spectacle).

Flippin' 'eck, I was underrating this one. What an absolute blast this is. So much fun... even for a miserable sod like me.

I remember liking Dots more, so looking forward to (re)checking that one tomorrow.

Nice I'm super curious whether it grew on you. I'm no longer sure which one is my fave right now, I've been checking too many of their albums one after the other, but I can't get enough of them.

So far all of them have been 4.0s or higher.

Wow, that sounds promising... I’m still to check most of their material, so looking forward to delving deeper.

This has such an intriguing infectious sound with no shortage of creativity. There’s a lot going on at times, but the looping beats keep it grounded and cohesive.

Judging from that last paragraph I think you're going to love their other stuff as well. They find a way to keep things genuinely creative, quirky, but smooth and quite easy to listen to at the same time.

Isn't it Bursts? Transient Noise Bursts? And Dots and Loops?

Both rule incredibly hard yes. Because they're Stereolab.

This is waaaaay better than Transient imo, Dots and Loops is a close(r)-run thing.
