Gyro, I'd say it's too soon to reach that kind of conclusion but what I can tell you is that both albums coexist in the same micro universe complementing each other beautifully.

After two listens I don’t think it is as strong as Abyss, but a nice comeback towards that sound. The first few tracks are fantastic, but it drags towards the middle (The Liminal). “Eyes Like Nightshade” is a new direction in terms of instrumentation, its electronica could easily fit Bjork’s Fossora. The last third is dominated by melancholia rather than heavy sound, which I think will grow on me quickly.
