"Welcome to the new Plini. It sounds a lot like Plini. If you enjoy Plini, you will like this!"

Yep, I'll probably love this

Releasing EPs of consistent quality is fine to me when a strong and powerful inspiration doesn't happen.

I listened to it and it was ok, the lack of a team is still more of a headache for me, I wonder if he's ever considered starting a full band.

The album cover looks like a phallus between two mammories. Please dont ban me, just delete this comment if considered vulgar.

Guess it depends on how much mileage you've gotten out of early Polyphia, which was good or at least harmless. Plini's had the most consistently great and easily-accessible material, issue is that said consistency has led to this point where you get a sense of resting-on-laurels.

Admittedly haven't jammed Polyphia too much since they're usually a bit overbearing even for me lol

Trilogy-era Pilini has some nice cuts, their first LP is also worth it for me. Second LP wasn't bad, and then this is just dull sadly. Dude's capable of much better.

I adore Impulse Voices and listen to it all of the time but I had a feeling with the singles that Mirage was gonna feel a lot more empty and hollow, retreading the same ground without the same highs. Starting my first jam now, so we shall see.

Edit: One thing I noticed from the singles and the first track is how absolutely drenched in reverb and delay a lot of the guitar work is. It's overwhelming.

It's a sad world we live in when people are scared of making funny jokes

Plini should've kept Ember and shelved the other tracks
