Really got a kick out of this album. Nice review my friend!

need to check this out.

I feel like aside from 2-3 songs, this feels like it’s own thing away from those two albums. Not a lot of post-hardcore or psychedelic stuff here, just some good prog rock with emphasis on funk and groove.

Jesus I was like "finally going to make it to the first page of a review of a band I love" only not to check sput yesterday lmao.
There certainly are weaker and stronger elements, but overall while I prefer a more consistent package of a Pink Lemonade, this album is still really solid, even if a little uneven. Not sure if addition of 'My Dearest Kate' was necesarry, especially since it stands out so much by mix and itself is a decent but nothing more song. Still I do feel that I'll need to spend more time with this album to get it all out of it

haven't liked these lads since their first EP, they really fell off

Lovelash is one of the dumbest Prince apings I've ever heard, and I'm actually kinda here for it. Fun album

Yeah Lovelash works precisely because it’s fun

I think if the opening tracks hadn't been so viscerally annoyingly bad to me I'd have had an easier time getting into the rest so I can see myself raising this as long as I skip past the frontloaded doodoo.

This sounds great overall but it is kind of a mixture of awesome and annoying. I guess that sums up my feelings about closure and Moscow overall

Yeah this is a lot of fun so far but First Temple has aged so god-damn gracefully that hearing anything new from this band immediately just makes me wanna spin their debut in full. "Holy Rush" slaps, though.

Baring "My Dearest Kate" as the weakest song on here only because it sounds like a studio demo, I really enjoy this album. It's definitely more a sequel to Pink Lemonade stylistically (and a little conceptually), but there's snippets of their older stuff in there.
Now I'm curious what direction they will go after this, just hoping it doesn't take another 8+ years to complete.

Holy Rush is a top 5 CIM track imo, perfect blend of their funk and rock styles and super catchy.
I’m always baffled by how well the vocals are layered across all their records. I think that’s their most underrated strength

yeah My Dearest Kate is kinda buns

would've been funny if they doubled down on the Pink Lemonade sound just to piss off the dweebs who got filtered by it lol. this is still sounding good tho

ronwa hot out of a blink-182 thresh to knock these cosmically bad lyrics is a good antic
