There was probably someone in production (or the director themselves) that heard it somewhere and thought it'd be good fit for a commercial. Good on them too, this makes good whimsical ad music. Not a conspiracy.

I still haven't checked everything he's made, but those two are well worth your time. Great stuff, very spooky.
Didn't even mention it in the review, but Symphony for a Spider Plant is also a classic. Sounds like space travel.
