The Garden do something 90% of the way to this sound really well though so it’s not even like the (anti)genre can’t be fun and/or possess some depth
Read someone say the first album was almost a modern Ween with some hard to define charm but this loses all that charm - I mostly dislike Ween but I can definitely get where he’s coming from.
