great record, Yo La Tengo through and through. A little worried not many songs on here really stand out like tracks/singles from other albums, but this closing track is GORGEOUS

'I'm guessing Painful, I Can Feel The Heart Beating As One, and And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out (in no particular order)?'

Yes, those three in that exact order ;)

Thank you for mentioning Electr-o-pura, that one’s so overlooked relatively speaking

As far as the early stuff goes, I really like Fakebook.

Electr-O-Pura is definitely underrated too, strong contender for their fourth best.

start with Painful for sure but I Can Hear The Heart is by far and large their best record. Electr-O-Pura as others have said is very underrated, has some of their best songs

Long bookends are kind of YLT’s signature.

@colton if you're talking about 'There's a big day coming' that's like the greatest song of all time

@gnardude definitely some bangers on there, but from start to finish it's a bit of an awkward listen

I'm still insanely blown away that there's zero percussion in that song
