The album is a grower. I was not initially impressed by the second half, but I like it front to back nowadays.

Yesyes Serenity, the gorgeous side of this is indeed gorgeous. It's cool that they don't feel obliged to push every song to the redline, and the second half is a slow-grower as a result

Okay, we're pretty much on the same page, although I don't necessarily needed them to be as heavy as in the opener. Its just that the first few songs have this kind of rocking riffs, coming in a fun doom outfit and you don't see that in the second half. I also still feel that the closer with esoteric is a missed oportunity to end it big. This is a beauty anyway.
