Wrecking Ball is great yeah. Seeger Sessions is a pretty good album but the real treasure is the live album with the sessions band. It is so fucking great

I really dig this, way more than I thought I would. The closest to this in his discography are actually his first two albums, showing how eclectic he was in his early days, incorporating a lot of soul into his style. His vocals fit the songs quite nicely, even if very different to the originals. Also this grooves a lot more than anything he has done in ages. count me stoked!

one of the better versions of "Sun Ain't Gonna Shine" I've heard that isn't Walker Bros
