I went through a little bit of a Receiving End of Sirens kick this week to stroll down memory lane of post-hardcore and, man, this album just hits a nerve that much of the genre hasn't in a very long time. I can't believe it actually lived up to the billing of who its members are. The title track is so damn good, it makes me giddy. Green continues his absurd streak

Slappin a 4 on this for now. Fully expecting it to grow. Definitely the most aggressive that Anthony has sounded in a long time and I'm here for it!

Is it just me or has Green’s vox really sound strained lately compared to the TTN/Juturna days?

Of course they are. He's much older than he was back then and hasn't sang as consistently aggressive as he does here probably since those albums.

Objectively, the vocals are worse but, I don't know, as someone who has followed the guy since the On Letting Go days I can't help but get a little choked up at how he still sounds pretty damn good and taking into account all he's been through lately.

Read some unfortunate rumors that he's using again. I really hope he's doing alright

Big fan of this. Pretty much spun it all day so far and it's hitting the spot! And yeah I heard somewhere that he had relapsed a while back, hoping he's doing okay. Addiction is no joke.

This definitely meant my expectations. Senior Verde's unusually strained and harsh vox really make it for me

This is really good, I'm enjoying Anthony pushing his vocals a bit more on this. I don't like seeing he's not doing so well though, dudes been having his struggles for like 2 decades now.
