Boney@ aren’t they all talky songs? I do like this tho. Might still grow on me yet.

Definitely talky, but I love the man's storytelling ability

is it just me or is the space between A and LEGACY smaller than any of the other spaces between two adjacent words

They are pretty close together, but then again, so is the rest of the album title

Just finished my first listen, this might be my favorite of his, but we'll see how it holds up

Yeah I have! Although I haven't listened to it enough. We All Want The Same Things is the one I've listened to the most, great album for a particular mood.

This guy talks more than he sings.

He half talks even when he's singing. Just a first listen, but so far, I don't like it.

I've definitely under-listened to this but it just doesn't work as a background listen. Instrumentally it's fine but the lyrics are really doing 90% of the work here.

hmm i wouldn't go that far, i think there's been a fair bit of development since i need a new war, particularly like the instrumental for the opener, never any horses, and the closer

well Craig always goes for certain subtlety in his tunes, mostly to accentuate his narrations

Yeah both those claims are fair. I just feel like I Need a New War had a better balance between the two, or at least that there were more moments where the music helped to elevate the stories even more.

Giving it a second listen. He kind of sounds like Sylvester the Cat from the Bugs Bunny cartoons.
