I didn’t get it, but there appears to be a Krallice album called Prelapsarian. Food for thought.
Are these guys generally disliked then? Who are the ‘sunless dickriders’? So many questions. Sunless is good but maybe not about the band, because that doesn’t make sense.

Demon yes Krallice was kind of a running joke in their early years by the staff at the time

I was not aware Krallice got much hate apart from the tremz of dick banter, which had been going on sput for 5 or so years

Hopefully these guys get the Cradle treatment in later years then, apparently those guys took a ton of shit too, but it seems the tide has turned in recent years (quite rightly, because they’re really bloody good).
I liked Demonic Wealth but I’m not familiar with their back catalogue.

yeah went through their back catalogue recently and it was a lot of fun. I feel like there's 3 eras:
1. The proggy black metal stuff from 2008-2012
2. The jankshit tech death from 2015-2017
3. The synthier avant-garde metal stuff from 2020-now
Pretty much release four albums in quick succession, then take a break for 3 years, then become a different band.
I will say 3>2>1

Comparing the ‘hate’ Krallice received (where? Here?) to CoF seems pretty hyperbolic. I don’t visit many music forums but Krallice were always held in high regard in most of them. Loüm is a fantastic album, very underrated.

I'm guessing this was probably when people were mad at Deafheaven for being "hipster black metal", where any bm that wasn't trve cvlt was lambasted
