Album rules. Still prefer the debut, because of the impact it had on me and my tastes back then, but this is such a worthy successor.

This would be great at, like, half the length.

100% can understand why someone would detest this album. like it's redundant to no end, probs 40 minutes too long. but meh, its got RIFFS m/ m/

I had this at 4.5 the day this came out. The more I listen tho the more It rubs off on me. It's just a huge collection of riffs thrown aimlessly together with no real consistency or motive. Theres very little melody or groove here. Or song structure. Just sounds like a bunch of random riffs

I don't mind the length. I'd complain about the length if it was 40 minutes. They spent 3 years writing this album, I'm glad it's over an hour.

"Glad this got a review." [2]
Not normally my thing but I found this very enjoyable. My chief complaint is the lack of variation. By the end I felt like I'd been listening to the same handful of songs for an hour.

Looking forward to hearing this. Uneven Structure dropped the ball big time so I'm hoping I get some enjoyment out of this

I can go full caveman to this, which is honestly the only thing I really want from Vildhjarta. Give me weird ass riffs that I can go full caveman to and its an easy 4+

That handful is sick though lol
I got bored in the middle but thought the last 3-4 were amazing

It's biggest strength and fault is it's more masstaden. (Under water) it's still good stuff. Just not really an evolution of the sound.

haven't spun the whole thing, but from what i've heard it's very solid

Also Paradiso is an amazing track. If nothing else that's the one song I recommend anyone try. I'm pretty much with jeet, it riffs hard and sounds pretty doing it

I really wish I was enjoying this as much as everyone else seems to be. I saw the score and got hyped that maybe they were able to recreate the magic from 10 years ago, but sadly that just isn't the case.
Most of my grievances have already been addressed. Album is 25-40min too long and most of the songs just feel like listening to the same thing over and over. They have hardly expanded on their sound at all, if anything this feels like a regression.
I've tried listening to this multiple times and hardly anything clicks for me. There are moments here and there that made me think they were about to do something cool, but then they just go back to the same ole riff and put me back to sleep.
