Nice to see this reviewed! I've never really cared about this dude though, but seeing more genre representation on Sput is a SUPER GOOD thing!

I'll revisit this. I just loved the feeling and vibe Nothing Is Still gave me that I was hoping for more along its lines. Pretty sure this will grow on me eventually.

“i need to accept that he's not gonna make another rojus and just give up i think. this was so boring and aimless for me”
True, he’s evolved since then. Rojus was good but this and Nothing Is Still are next level. Inimitable.

I always admire when an artist changes things up like that. It’s gotta be difficult dragging around people’s expectations everywhere you go. But an effective artist can self-talk through and ideally out of that mind trap and make the art that’s meaningful to them

I think Leon vynehall had a similar evolution to lapalux in that way, nothing is still and ruinism were just so out there compared to their previous sound and also extremely bold albums to make given their fanbases expectations of them. Same goes for amnioverse and this but I think we were expecting the unexpected at that point. But yeah so much respect my god
