"fuck I hate the naming scheme he's been doing for the past few albums"
The name thing definitely predates the past few albums. Citation: Astro-Creep: 2000 – Songs of Love, Destruction and Other Synthetic Delusions of the Electric Head.
New album is a bit bloated, but I'm enjoying the highlight tracks more than his other solo stuff, at least of what I've heard.

John 5 hyped this up to be some masterpiece, and it's every bit as mediocre as everything Zombie has put out post-Sinister Urge lol.

I actually like this album but I think it's HUGELY because the production is so potent. It has such a great texture that I completely forget to even pay attention to the songwriting. Like that riff to Sleazy Rider barely sounds like like it has a melody but it's got so much goddamn punch that I love it.
I really don't think it's that bad at all on a second listen, actually. No, nothing is as catchy as Dragula or Feel So Numb but it's incredibly enjoyable.

I like this more than Sinister Urge and Hellbilly Deluxe. That's likely because I'm fond of the two White Zombie albums and not much else that followed, and some of these tracks sound closer to Electric Head than Living Dead Girl to me.

Haven't tried anything Rob Zombie has done since the album with Devils Rejects on it. Gonna give this a shot for shits and giggles

that's different though. I don't mean just the long titles, but the completely random, nonsensical mashing together of words like "Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor" and this.

I feel like "Synthetic delusions of the Electric Head" is also random, nonsensical word mashing. But your point is valid either way.

Always thought White Zombie only had two albums and diving into the ones I didn't know existed has been an interesting ride. Has me kind of excited to jam this after getting sidetracked lol

Yeah, the albums outside the two mainstream ones are quite different in sound. Very raw and different in style

Rob who?

Hack Snyder?

fuck I hate the naming scheme he's been doing for the past few albums [2]
Probably gonna pass on this since I thought Electric Witch Orgy or whatever the fuck was really lame and shallow, but this is a great review and I appreciate the fan's perspective being articulated so well.

only here because John 5 is a consistently great guitarist, and helps makes these albums fun

this album bangs really hard, shame so many interludes.

I don’t feel that this review is correct. I enjoy the variety of songs and interludes. Album does not wear out it’s welcome, similar to Electric Warlock.
