"Nothing to Do With Me" borrows the guitar from Fausts "It's a Rainy Day" too.

Never really heard Faust to be honest. Going in now! I don't know whether So Far is the best entry point. What do you think, Ghandhi?

Just occurred to me that "Margerine" is not "margarine." Looked it up and this is the only thing I can find about "Margerine" lol https://simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/Margerine_of_Aragon

Colton you probably know it's also their first album after Mary Hansen passed away at age 36 because she was hit by a bus, so it's also an homage to her.

Yet another fantastic album by this amazing band.

ohh interesting. Wow that's horrible. Looking forward to hearing that one but I think I'll go back and check some of the pre-Dots and Loops stuff first

Coltoid I know I talk shit because ur super annoying and everything but I'm actually really proud of you for reviewing this and getting into stereolab and coming around on BoC etc. Even as much as I like to hate on Bork for the meme of it your musical horizons are clearly expanding and that's pretty cool.

Yeah it's very horrible. The track Feel And Triple is heart-wrenching.

Agreed Pots, but without the being horrible part of course.

yeah Pots, I always knew I would be able to get into electronic music and stuff like this if I took the time to really listen to it and give it a chance. Obviously I enjoy the banter and discussion on sputnik but ultimately I'm here to discover new music and it's cool how many people here have steered me toward stuff I love. Just discovered Talking Heads, Bjork and Stereolab a few months ago and can barely even remember what it was like before I knew them. Their music is just part of my daily life now

and to be fair I haven't listened to BOC since that, and I 5'd pretty much everything I listened to that day but I'm sure when I do relisten to them I'll have a deeper appreciation for them at the very least
