Had the exact same thought about Anxiety. That line was the first one to jump out at me as lazyyyy. Like really that’s the best you could do

Early days but I agree with a few of your points. I really wish their lyrical content wasn't so blunt and obvious - not a fan of opinionated artists regurgitating tiresome well-trodden subjects, especially when the language used leaves absolutely no room for doubt. They barely got away with it on Joy (despite my reservations), but I was hoping for a little nuance or mystique this time. It detracts from the instrumentals, although I'm not convinced there are many songs here that would truly stick regardless.
