That paragraph is about Ghosts VI, written by Simon. Since the albums were released together, I used one of his paragraphs about VI and he used mine for V.

After 3 full listens I can say with confidence that this is pulling ahead of Locusts...

I haven't listened to Locusts yet but this sounds like it would be the more enjoyable chill album. I may not even try Locusts tbh.

Good review by the way, it got me to check out the album, otherwise I would have never bothered.

The closer here is awesome and IMO the best from the double album

Yeah, I would say I like V better than VI. Both have great atmosphere, but I feel like five is more listenable. I can easily see myself returning to it where as VI hasn't quite grabbed me in the same way.

It is. Multiple songs here have that creepy side to them that pops up occasionally

okay, thank you. cuz I could not see this juxtaposition between calm and creepy, day and night regarding ghosts V and VI. some of the songs here are really unnerving since the majority of this album gives you the impression of false security. and then it creeps the shit out of you.

The original Ghosts album had loads of creepy stuff on it too.

Is the last song on this one, "Still Right Here", a reference to or continuation of the song "Hurt"?

I thought With Faith was gorgeous not creepy. Especially the outro. But I should listen again.

Weird that this has 111 ratings and only 2 pages of comments. I feel like there's so much to discuss and unravel here. Absolutely breathtaking ambient piece, and IMO, quite noticeably better than Ghosts I-IV and even VI: Locusts.

Not sure how much to say about this other than that it's great and captures a mood (would agree that it edges out Locusts though)

I'm tempted Gonz. This would still need to reveal an additional layer for me to give it that now-coveted 4.5 (used to hand them out like candy, but now treating it like the new 5). V: Together is definitely one of the prettiest ambient albums I've heard since Sigur Ros' ( ), and there are even some aesthetic parallels. Can't get enough of this.
