Like many a pop star Justin Bieber is only as good as his production. no reason to listen to anything of his

Come on con, how can you base an opinion on something you haven’t even heard yet? There’s loads of albums out there that release shit singles, but aren’t representative of the whole project.

As I’ve stated in the review, it isn’t setting the mould, nor is it all that memorable. However, for the most part, it’s a pretty enjoyable record and one that clearly sees Justin trying to break some old habits.

Haven’t heard this myself but agree ^^^^ 100%. I’ve heard songs that I dug in the most obscure places. If it wern’t for my willingness to look beyond the covers of the book, I might not have the appreciation for certain artists that I do today.

Yeah, and honestly, I’m not even Bieber’s biggest fan. Purpose really took me by surprise, and at a time when I didn’t want to beliebe he could make a decent album. I can’t say I’m a fan of the guy as a person, but he’s starting to prove himself more as an artist.

It’s just a little annoying when people write off what could be a decent album for them, just because of the name that’s attached to it.

let's just be clear I don't hate this album just Yummy as a song...and the embarrassing social media fiasco to go along with it. That alone makes me uninterested in listening to this full album all I'm saying...not to discredit this review I just haven't disliked a song this much in a hot sec

Yeah, I'm sure not every song here is as repulsive as Yummy, but these aren't particularly glowing scores either. There's no reason to spend 50 odd minutes to only come away with a "meh" experience rather than a painful one.

Was your promotion to staff conditional upon you exclusively listening to and reviewing absolutely terrible music or what

I dunno.. his moustache is an easy 3.5 in my book and by far the best thing about Justin Bieber in general...

You gotta draw the line somewhere doc ;) I'd cut my ears off before sitting through anything related to this guy. Props to you for going in with an open mind though, I just can't man.

I like how the metal users are dropping in wanting to listen to this. That 90s angst cover is really alluring (aka why I'm here too)
