Keyblade's comment is a piece of text from my review of Death in 2014.

All my reviews are on my computer, still. I never erase it completely. I may add them again one day but I don't look fondly on my old writing. I think I've left two reviews up from an old account but I forgot which ones haha

Maybe if you don't feel like looking back, look forwards. Surely popping a new review up on occasion won't do harm.

"Best band of all times"

I've discovered the band more deeply in the last few weeks, and I liked their entire discography. The EP's are especially interesting. Nice rating

Jac open your ears and you too can hear what we hear

@Nocte: I may write reviews in the future but I feel kinda done with the format for now. I'm more interested in writing essays with a wider scope but mostly focused on a few personal writing projects instead rn

@NoTrap: they really grow with each listen, and each release has a totally unique vibe. Their Genocide Chants demo might be their most unique, at least unique for them, it's wild and one of my favourite demos ever

Loved this in five minute segments but as a whole, found it boring for 50-some minutes. I'll give it another chance like I do all of my 2.5 and 3's but was severely underwhelmed on first listen.

Also leave Wes Anderson out of this!

Wes Anderson? The director?

Haha yes, I'm just teasing the guy (girl?) who equated my subpar rating of this to Wes Anderson. (My 'favorite bands' list is actually a list of directors I like.)

Anyway, about to spin this again now, wish me luck.

This kind of aesthetics is not for everyone, I fully understand if it's not your cup of tea, a few years ago, I probably wouldn't like it either

I feel like I should like this band more but whenever any comments they're radically different than most other black/death I'm like .... uhhhh okay.

I guess they have some quirks? But nothing that feels like a revelation **to me**. I do like the band though.
