thanks for the review. there quite some highlights this year when it comes to sludge or doom. yes, Mizmor's Cairn fits into the categories musically but the lyrics are standing out and this distinguishes the album from the rest. the discovery of the absurdity of life, the fall from god and the denial to just quit. a way I know so well. this album will not be used in any Top list for me. it will just exist as a reminder

Yeah, that part is brutal.
Idk I enjoyed this more that other doom or funeral doom albums I've heard this year. Love that sludge influence and the BM parts are so tasty.

Some of my fave vox in 'metal' just incredible variety in one mans voice. I was asking him about those high screams last week when I saw them as thought theyre actually made breathing in. He confirmed this I wasnt sure
