The dudes are way more technical, and I prefer their sound to opeth. Plus they have one of a hell bassist.

I like the band, and I do like the fretless bass...just don't think Opeth as a techdeath band per se, nor Obscura that groundbreaking and they do get a bit lost in the progressiveness of their songwriting...they are master executors of their craft though.
