Yeah this is pretty fucking great, lol
First album of theirs that isn't just "good" to me - it just feels so much more focused.
*also like the cover

This sound really fits them. They have matured as a band, this is their best album so far.

Wasn't sure about most of this - I decided to give this a listen as some buddies were saying this was their "thrash album". Hell is a tune and a half, I liked the Sabbath/Budgie influences for sure, though a lot fell flat. Probs a 3 on first listen, but I'll give it another go this week

I cant decide between this, Polygondwanaland, and Gumboot Soup for their best album. They're all so damn good in their own way

Yeah fuck the Muskrat. Thrash and Musk cult criticism, double points for the Gizz.

First time listening to this band, this record is totally fun and awesome, reminds me of a less epic “Traveller” by Slough Feg.

Nonagon or Brunswick East

This is great. Nonagon will always hold a special place in my heart as my first Gizz album, and the one I saw them touring to promote, but this is a very close #2 Gizz for me. As repetitive as they've ever been, but it does feel a lot more focused and confident and has a momentum sometimes lost in the midst of their shtick. This is very good.

I think I listened to fishies, or at least some of it. And pretty sure I listened to Nonagon back when it came out. Saw them play in my hometown a couple years ago, real fun show.
This is easily my favorite of theirs that I've heard, which makes sense because I like thrash
