As someone who's been into these guys since Sehnsucht, this album is fantastic. Rammstein can do no wrong tbh. The choruses in Zeig Dich, Auslander, and Tattoo can't get out of my head.

My first Rammstein lol

This is good even though I have no clue what they're singing about

@Sowing it really pays of to read the translation while listening. The are great at telling short stories that are often in the POV of the 'other' person (the killer, pedo etc)

The pre-chorus to Ausländer is hilarious btw. Roughly translated: "I'm not a man for one night... I never stay more than one or two hours".

But you already heard some songs right? Du hast was one of the greatest hits of the late 90's

I’ve enjoyed the songs I’ve heard from this that I actually went out and picked up a physical copy. Feels like I’m in 2004 again.

The production on this sounds really fantastic.

Only Rammstein can stick to pretty much the same formula for so long and still have an album that sounds fresh

Ausländer is an anthem, glad Flake gets a chance to shine on this album

tbh I think it helps that this is their first album in 10 years

Definitely a factor for sure, still impressive to pull it off throughout their career though

Puppe is really unsettling but great at the same time

"But you already heard some songs right?"

Nope, somehow this album's lead single was the first song I've heard by them. If it helps to explain, I grew up in America and was musically sheltered until I was about 16.

It's never too late to rock ;) the band probably didn’t have as much success in the US as it did in Europe

Listen to Mutter or Reise, Reise if you're new to this band. Two of their strongest albums. Sehnsucht and Rosenrot are pretty epic and varied albums as well.
