Yeah it's my early fave on the new album - that build and release is pure power

I was slightly familiar with the backlog before this album, but I've been diving in more since I enjoyed this so much. Their progression is so interesting and I feel like Get Out Stay Out is a perfect indicator of that.

Yeah their debut is excellent as well. I'd put it on par with this, though it definitely has a much more wintery vibe (in case Snowglobe and Death in the Snow on the tracklist didn't give it away)

They are very seasonal! This is their spring effort, then you've got Dear Me which is autumnal, and their debut which as you say has a wintry vibe.

Just summer to go ;)

In fact, I'm calling summer 2021 or '22 for their next release!

Oh man, I could see them doing a summer vibe so well. Almost Jack's Mannequin-esque!

This might be a 4.5 soon. I've been listening to this all week and it never gets old. Get Out Stay Out into No Parachutes is a heck of a 1-2 punch. I think Funeral and Didn't I are a bit of a step down, but Jumble Gem and Goodnight are lovely. Probably bound for my top 10 this year unless things turn out incredibly well

You pretty much summed up my thoughts exactly! Funeral and Didn't I are good enough songs on their own, but have completely different vibes from the rest of the album. A little too poppy for everything else that's going on, but they don't impact my enjoyment of the album!

It’s one that that if you enjoyed your first listen, I would definitely recommend giving it a second. I wouldn’t say it’s a grower in a traditional sense, but you appreciate it more on future lessons.

Also nice bump up @ProjectFreak!

yeah this needs a Sowing review, this feels like a more explosive Copeland. I can't stop listening to it.

Yeah, I’m kind of shocked this doesn’t have more attention. It seems very “in” for the genre this year. Definitely in my top 5 of 2019.

Going to give this one more shot. I like individual aspects of it, but none of it come close to tracks like Snowglobe or ITYTFIL imo.

"Weather Report" is a thing of beauty but a bit of an unfair opener - nothing else on the album quite seems to recapture that magic :/

A few other songs make a concerted run at it though
