@BigPleb: Oh it does. In fact that's the first thing I've heard from her.

First few tracks, Wonderful Life, and the last few tracks are pretty fun and I'm enjoying them quite a bit. Middle tracks aren't terrible just kind of filler.

@Nocte: When's your review coming? I want to see a properly rationalized negative review for this...unlike the other two which were either a complete joke or feel like they were written in 15 minutes.

"basically taking the same kind of tone “Doomed” had but runs with it for the entire album."

Haven't heard the record yet and this greatly intrigues me. Nice review.

It's a surprisingly great, and at times adventurous album. Sputs will probably give it 1's just because it's a BMTH album.

The distribution has been pretty all over the place, honestly.

These guys seem to fill the gap Linkin Park left since TTS. Mmh. I don't like their attitude at all, but Sempiternal and TTS had style. Will give this a spin

This and TTS having a lower rating than Count Your Blessings and Suicide Season is a prime example of Sputnik just being straight up wrong in favor of heavy music tbh.

Even ouch (The interlude) is kinda cool in it's own way. Prime Sputnik underrating "mainstream" records from demonized bands. I don't particularly like TTS because they sounded like a Linkin Park cover band. This has way more interesting ideas, and sounds like a band willing to experiment and do some legitimately good music.

After hearing “Mother Tongue” i thought i would have given Amo a 2.5. Didn’t expect this. “Nihilist Blues”, “In The Dark” & “Fresh Bruises” probably my favorites.

@ProPrayer: Where does "I Don't Know What to Say" sit on your list?

First and last track were both some of the best songs of the album imo.

Hoping that "Heavy Metal" and "S.H.I.T." will grow on me like the singles (except "Mother Tongue").

S.H.I.T. is cool, that guitar solo gives it an interesting almost grunge type feel. Legit reminded me of Kurt Cobain's solo on "In Bloom" tbh.

I'd really like them to do a whole album pulling from the style and atmosphere of the opener with less of the shit pop like Medicine and Mother Tongue.

Holly shit had no idea this was out.... Time to go listen to it I guess (not the score I expected Gonzo so you at the very least got me hopeful)
