@lucid: a really interesting point but, I think, ineffective regardless given the context of what i maintain is a fundamentally personally anguished album, though I'll re-listen to the song with that in mind. in terms of personal alienation being enforced on people because of IDpol I think Dean Blunt/Babyfather and James Ferraro do it extremely well just in case u hadn't heard them!!!

O hell wines, what a wonderful review. I love your deconstructions and I love this album, Noid has been an absolute anthem for me since I first heard this and it's surrounded by sparkling gems no less

this is p cool, not overly as stoked on it as i was expecting based on the response though, little too dissonant/chaotic for my taste ig

Only time the dissonance is an issue for me is in the closer, which I think might be the weakest track.

anatelier: that might explain why I loved it on first listen

I love the vocals (kind of reminds me of why?), but the incessant cymbal crashes are a little jarring

Lifetime is gorgeous, but damn dude I love the cymbal crashes. Something just so disturbing and unrelenting about them.

gotta spend more time with this but really enjoyed the first listen. Noid was played non-stop when that single came out

Rad first listen. From that epic introduction to the chaotic end, it had it's hooks in me. I only wish I had known about this before the grind of this month started.

Noid is definitely something that took me by surprise. Equal parts snazzy and poppy. 110% the best single this year for me.
