Y'all totally beat me to the punch. Turn On The Bright Lights >>>>> Joy Division anything.
Bright Lights is arguably the greatest Post-Punk album ever (let's be honest, Disintegration is amazing, but it's darkwave at most, and new-wave and poppy af). Only post-punk album I'd honestly put on the same level is Script Of The Bridge by The Chameleons.
|
| |
script aint even the best chameleons album smh
|
| |
must have some absurdly low standards to think Bright Lights is even in the top 50 of the genre

Is it cheating if I just post Darklands and Y over and over again?

This is really good but could have been a lot better. My main problems are mostly the production and tracklisting. Like seriously, it sometimes sounds like I'm listening to a singles collection. Doesn't have the flow most of their albums have. That's also why they included those interludes I believe. Some of these songs just don't work well together
.

I find the flow on this album actually one of their best, pretty weird album, but it works for me.
