Need to jam this more but 'Wake' is definitely up there with his best tracks.
Nice review, man.

Nice record, but didn't really 'wow' me like Arktis did. I like that it doesn't overstay it's welcome though, and the synths and vocal melodies are great

How great is that chair. Wake is pretty cool.

The chorus is bliss, Ihsahn’s cleans are definitely the highlight of this record.

The opening track is so damn good, and then he loses me as the album goes on. Good review, though. I just can't get into the album.

good first impressions. I think this is one of the few albums of 2018 to really catches my attention, so far the worst year for music imo.

That’s really disheartening to hear, there are a lot of great releases this year, especially as far as metal goes. Gotta wonder what else you’ve been listening to.

I really have found only four - five albums I liked from this year, although I search a lot. Ihsahn's is one of them. I liked ''Dead Magic'' a lot, Moby's ''Everything Was Beautiful...'', Typhoon's ''Burnt Offerings'' and that's pretty much it... I have yet to delve into Son Lux's newest, as well as Hookworm's. Yesterday I discovered PinioL and Melted on the Inch, which sound interesting, but I haven't given them a go yet.

Might have to visit some of the site’s user/contrib/staff Q1 lists for some inspiration. I’ll admit there’s a lot of middling releases this year but there’s definitely a fair share of excellent albums out this year.

Oh, I saw most Q1 lists, I found some interesting things there but I don't like black, tech death and post hardcore so that excludes most albums almost immediately.

It's a competent record, nothing really stood out though

Holy fuck I was hyped after that first track.
Losing me after it, but I gotta listen more, as per usual.
Where you are lost and I belong is pretty rad too.
