This album is really meditative. Kinda reminds me of Kauan's album from last year.

Seriously I can’t stress enough how you guys gotta try Violent/Bright. It’ll make this album feel like child’s play.

All is Violent All is Bright is a very different record than this. It's great, don't get me wrong, but this was intentionally going for a different, darker, more dense atmosphere, and at the end I think it's more a matter of taste. Compositionally, I think Epitaph may even be superior

This is pretty good but gotta agree with mongi, not digging the production at all.

new song 'Burial' out now. Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Jbc-e3I5eQ

Album is called Ghost Tapes #10 and will be out Feb 12th 2021. Press release text suggests it will be a heavier and more 'furious' affair.

Production sounds way ahead of Epitaph - I'm encouraged by the single, it sounds fresh.

woah this sounds quite different

i wouldn't say the production is 'way ahead' - definitely cleaner. i think the production on this album was very purposeful. production on this new song suits it though.

excited.

I get your point. I have to play Epitaph loud to really enjoy it. It's not a bad album at all but I prefer this cleaner production style.

Didn't they use a different production style deliberately for Epitaph?

Shame cause I think the production on this really hurts it. It’s so muddy and thin.

it definitely isn't thin. muddy? i can see that - but it's the kind of album that 100% comes alive when you blast it really loud on a speaker system. it swallows you up.

"Didn't they use a different production style deliberately for Epitaph?"

wouldn't be surprised if that were the case, it sounds markedly different from anything else they've made, so

So this is better than i remember so there's that. But i still think they tried so hard to make this sound massive but the production is kinda muddy and disgusting

Why is this suddenly hitting like a ton of bricks? Maybe it’s my sound system that’s better now lol this is great
