One of my favorite albums, this is beyond amazing. Love how she collaborates on here a ton, such a web of talent coming together to form a surreal yet coherent collage of sounds and snippets and (quasi-)songs.
Moontalk is amazing, playful chune yeah, but the more abstract parts of the album are just as good. they balance each other well

It’s still obviously an ambient album
I’d also say it’s not just the instrumentation but how it’s employed, those instruments aren’t just being used as ambient noise or for drones
