Big improvement upon their last three. Also nice cover.

The Wild Sky is a saucy and well done instrumental jam here. Yeah Pho3nix, definitely a big improvement.

I really don't see this as the big improvement others seem to, but is a buttery smooth jam front to back.

Yeah this is much better than High Country. Good stuff

Saw them last night. They played almost exclusively from this album. The crowd was dead, some guy yelled “you suck” a couple of times, and the vocalist started getting mad because no one was reacting.
One of the worst shows i’ve ever been to tbh. I’m not a huge fan of The Sword, but it felt like they were going through motions.
Album is pretty solid though.

Was hoping this would be an improvement from their last album, but this is just as middle-of-the-road. I can respect them for trying to shift into a new sound, but if the results sound like them wanting me to go to sleep than to take anything else from it, then there's a problem.

I just listened through all of their stuff from beginning to this and I still highly enjoyed everything up until Warp Riders. That was definitely their peak. This, on the other hand, is so tepid.

The one-two punch of Deadly Nightshade/Twilight Sunrise is as good as anything they've ever done, and those instrumentals are epic. Genuinely underrated.

So... Are they back or what? They returned to dot hat event with primus so I figured they were reuniting or was that a one-time thing?
