I only learned about these guys from their Facebook ads for this album and then dug into a little bit of their discog. I only saw their stagedress for the first time yesterday and HOLY FUCK these guys are cool. Not to mention the face-melting death metal. I'm amped to hear this.

Listened to Phreqs and to be honest, don't really get the appeal of their sound. That part where it cuts to just panned guitars to the end of the track was very underwhelming for me. Phathom is better, but those almost whispered vocals just come across as weak and ineffective to me. I'm not getting the horror atmosphere that people are describing. Maybe just not for me.
