Yeah I feel like they’re gonna move away from the Isis worship officially on the new one. The drummer and lead singer both worship Sumac (Ironic...I know) and those are the vibes I got on the snippets I heard.

Me too I’m not fond of Sumac myself. We’ll see what happens in the end, I sound like I’m super close to this but I only know the little samples they’ve shared and some brief chats with them. I don’t know much lol

Is Burial Dream worth checking out?

Yes very much so Pika. Less original than this one, but it bridges the gap between Oceanic and Panopticon perfectly

Burial Dream is a must listen if you like them. It’s just by far the closest in sound to Isis so a little less original. Their first EP is the only one I’d say isn’t as strong.
