If you listen to both versions of this album you'll notice that not only was the sound remastered, but different vocals and sounds were re-added that the band say were missing from the original for unknown reasons.

Andy Sneap got lazy at the wheel.

Andy didn't do the orignal Kelly Grey (I think that's his name...ex-Queensryche guitarist) did the original production.

I didn't think Andy Sneap would do a shoddy job.

Enemies of Reality is a sick track.

Because it isn't defining modern thrash. Its still good though.

There's not all that much depth here. Most Nevermore albums switch things up from song to song, but this album seemed to have a very specific focus (minus the song near the end that's pretty fucked up).

The guitar solo on Never Purify...holy shitballs.
Badass album all around. The original mix never caused me any problems. I'm interested to hear the remaster if only to hear the small intricacies the new mix brings out

Also is the end of Seed Awakening the closest we get to Dane actually growling?
He does do some weird forced stuff on Enemies of Reality (3:50ish)

Production is weird even on the remaster but there are some solid riffs in here.

Album still kicks serious ass, the crude version of it, that is.
