Great review - I was just thinking to myself how much I love their first 3 albums, yet their newest 3 probably top the old 3

Excited to hear the new one, Relatives in Descent is my fave thing they’ve put out, but Ultimate Success Today didn’t hook me at all no matter how many times I tried

Ultimate Success had some great tracks, but I agree it doesn’t quite stand up to Agent or Relatives.

The first part is very strong, but from The Hermit and onwards they go far beyond "standard post-punk". These tracks are full of emotion, especially Ellen, which is just wonderful as it fades out and in again with its shoegazey harmonies.
