Hard to pick. Although Apparitions is one of my all time favourites.
And the lyrics on this are delightful

I agree the lyrics are wondrous; it's what got me into mgb in the first place as an adolescent way back when.
Love me the Rico, Primetime Deliverance, Inescapeable Us, Indestructible combo. The only track on here I don't really care for is Invasion 1.

I'll respond to that in 2021

Beautiful Midnight is definitely their peak, but Matthew Good has always been pretty damn consistent. I'm not listening to much of his new stuff released, but I'm always delighted to see them keeping the train on the tracks. R.I.P. to their bassist Rich Priske.

Whats your opinion of Audio of Being?

Had to give a few of the tracks another listen, it's been a bit since I've heard it, but it's clicking with me. I'd land it on a 5 out of 5 now, though, realistically, it's probably a 4.5. "Man of Action", the opening song, may be my favorite of that record, I love the atmospheric opening and it brings to mind my reaction to Tool's 10,000 Days record; where "Vicarious" was my favorite song, but I still deeply enjoyed the rest of the album. I love albums that start off brilliantly and carry that momentum throughout.

As far as I'm concerned, he can continue down the path he's on. His last rockier record was pretty mediocre. Moving Walls is one of his best solo albums to date. There isn't a bad track amongst the 15.
Audio of Being was such a solid album too; it's funny to think Good more or less dismisses it. However, I think that's because he's gone on the record saying it was a shadow of what he intended it to be by the time it was done. It'd be interesting to hear his rendition of it, if one ever came to light.
