yeah it feels like an extension of manipulator and I really liked manipulator so it's fine with me



it's still markedly fall of troy to me and I'm a fan of them trying new things. I didn't like ITUE altogether but it did have some good moments. the songwriting on this is better imo even if the vocals are kinda wonky and the production



I want to see what they'll do next if anything

The Dark Trail is one of my favs and I wish they'd play it more live. Though, I doubt Thom can pull off those high vocals anymore so maybe it's a good thing they don't play it very often. Semi-Fiction, Problem!? and A Man. A Plan. are also bangers.

Neither of those really sound like Doppelgänger. Red Museum I can understand because Ilia and Thomas played together and kind of fed off of eachother thus their playing and vocal styles are (were?) very close, but Closure In Moscow? Nah man.

Red Museum is a shameless ripoff of Fall of Troy but they do have great songs. They just don't have the heavy aspect that is so enjoyable about FoT
