I remember when my friend introduced me to these guys not too long ago with the song Caitlyn. From the start I thought they were going to be another lame emo/indie pop band however, when the song got to the breakdown (with that awesome little riff that makes you think of Third Eye Blind's, Graduate) I was proved wrong. That little melody resonated with me and once I heard the whole album, I was hooked. It's been a long time since I've heard an album so good to listen to 10 times in one day. Awkward Pop Songs is a solid fucking album and holds some of the best songs I've ever heard within the genre, not to mention how amazing Matt's vocals and guitar playing is. Weed may be tight, but Jank is the tightest.

Not sure if anyone cares but JANK's new EP/Album (idk why it's considered an EP it's got 8 songs) is streaming right now!

The parameters of what constitutes an album are weird. Normally I'd say 10+ songs or 30+ minutes or both

They screencapped my sound off and posted it. Proud moment.

And yah stippling has some tight jams. Wish I could tell you there was new stuff coming, but I don't have any leads on that.
