Wow, just noticed that they're releasing a new LP this year. I wasn't even certain they still existed.

"Any disappointments Atari?"

i really haven't heard it enough to say what, if any disappointments are (been busy jamming the new senses fail), but i'll let you know once i've given this album more time to sink in

Cool. I always find it difficult to pinpoint disappointments - & explain them properly - in consistent albums like this.

A Brooklyn Rooftop seriously is a nice jam. Have to give this a go, i guess.

'A Brooklyn Rooftop' was the song that stood out to me on the first couple of listens. I think it will end up being the consensus highlight here.

Atari, I was gonna list some lyrical gold nuggets in the review (that was one of them), but the review was already a little longer than I wanted it to be for all that I had to say.

so i'm definitely not disappointed in this album thus far. pretty sure i dig it more than their last one, but not sure if i like it more than their debut. seems like the guitar-work has improved, and there are just some huge moments (like the chorus in a brookyln rooftop for example) that make for great summer anthems. let's just hope this gets more than 5 votes like their last one lol

Yeah, hoping it gets a bit more notice... It didn't really leak early, nor stream early, so it's technically only been out there for 2 days.

had to bump this up to a 4. My favorite songs keep changing almost every time I hear it. The improvements are subtle so I didn't really notice a difference at first, but this is a step up from their last album imo

I noticed. When favourite songs keep changing, it usually means that (a) it's a consistent batch of tunes, and/or (b) there's lots of subtle background layers that result in growers. I do agree this has both.

We got a promo from the label before release.

It may not be exactly what you're looking for, but it's streaming over at dyingscene.com. I can't get the link to work, so just google it.

More importantly, will it be on Apple Music by the end of the week? Taylor Swift needs to know.
